Follow these in order to get the platform working for you.
Log in to the platform. You'll be asked for a password. Clients receive theirs by email. Then choose Create an Account and register with the approved email. You can navigate back to the sign in page in the future by clicking Client Log In on the upper right hand corner of Citate.ai.

From the navigation bar you have two ways to build campaigns, or you can use campaigns already shared with you in the left nav.
Create Campaign Best when you know the exact wording of the prompts you want to track and optimize for.
Campaign Wizard Chat with our AI assistant, which suggests prompts and keywords based on your instructions. Don't like a suggestion? Just tell the agent to change the prompt or keyword, or ask it to add a specific campaign.
You will be asked to add campaigns you create to a folder. This aggregates stats across many campaigns and gives you a powerful overview. We recommend separate folders for Competitive Benchmarking / Brand Visibility and for Brand Sentiment, which makes each statistic far more meaningful across many prompts.
New campaign results need at least one day to appear. Citate monitors performance over time, collecting thousands of answers per prompt for statistically accurate samples.
Click any campaign in the left nav to explore its features. Visibility is the easiest place to start. It tracks the keywords you've chosen. Topics surfaces every topic appearing in the answers, chosen or not, and you can read the raw answers at the bottom of Visibility or Sentiment Analysis.
Open Folder Stats (the first icon by the folder name) for aggregated views. And explore Agents, custom on-demand reports available both across a folder and inside each campaign, to go far beyond standard analytics.
Citate collects a very high volume of answers, sampled every few minutes, to build statistically accurate, representative results based on thousands of responses per prompt. Wait at least for one full day of collection before checking analytics.
Once you've collected data, these are the tools that move the needle.
Generate content targeted at ranking for specific prompts in specific LLMs. We use hundreds of answer samples to discover the topics each LLM cares about the most for a prompt. Please inquire about Citate Ops for even more content tools at scale that avoid the Google penalties plaguing our competitors.
See the websites each LLM relies on most, searchable by domain and URL. Influence them directly. e.g. join a heavily-cited Reddit thread, earn a review on a key site, or study and emulate high-performing competitor pages. Available by prompt, by model, and as a folder-level aggregate.
Ranked topics, whether by prompt or folder, reveal what the LLMs consider important. Write to those topics, or pitch press and media on them. If you're not addressing them, your content won't be part of the conversation.
Run exact-phrase matching across answers and build custom groups of phrases, so you can track the visibility of a whole set of keywords in aggregate.
